Copper-Nickel Ring Type Joint (RTJ) gaskets are solid metallic sealing rings designed to seat into a precision-machined groove on RTJ flange faces, creating an exceptionally high-integrity metal-to-metal seal. As the flange bolts are tightened, the Cu-Ni ring deforms plastically into the groove, establishing a seal capable of withstanding extreme pressures, high temperatures, and aggressive fluid media.

Copper-Nickel Spiral Wound gaskets are semi-metallic sealing elements constructed by spirally winding a thin Cu-Ni metallic strip alternately with a soft filler material — typically flexible graphite or PTFE — to form a robust, resilient sealing element. The spiral winding creates alternating metal and filler layers that compress under bolt load, accommodating surface irregularities, bolt relaxation, and cyclic pressure and temperature variations.

Copper-Nickel Corrugated Metal gaskets are manufactured by forming a Cu-Ni sheet into a series of concentric corrugations — creating multiple raised contact ridges across the gasket face. When compressed under bolt load, these ridges bite into the flange surface and deform slightly, creating multiple independent sealing lines that significantly enhance leak tightness compared to a flat gasket of the same material.
Cu-Ni corrugated metal gaskets can be supplied plain or with a soft overlay layer — typically flexible graphite or PTFE — which further enhances conformability and surface fill for improved sealing performance.

Copper-Nickel Metal Jacketed gaskets consist of a soft, compressible filler material — typically ceramic fibre, flexible graphite, asbestos-free compressed fibre sheet, or PTFE — completely enclosed within a formed Cu-Ni metal jacket. The outer Cu-Ni jacket provides mechanical protection to the filler, resists the corrosive process fluid and environment, and gives the gasket its structural rigidity and dimensional stability.
Metal Jacketed gaskets in Copper-Nickel are particularly well-suited for heat exchanger channel covers, pressure vessel manway covers, and large-diameter flanges where surface finish may not be ideal.

Copper-Nickel Lens Ring gaskets are precision-machined solid metal sealing rings with a distinctive convex spherical (lens-shaped) cross-section profile. The lens ring gasket seals through line contact — the convex spherical profile contacts the matching concave conical seat in the flange face at a single circular line of contact, concentrating sealing stress to a very high level even at relatively low bolt loads.

Copper-Nickel Kammprofile gaskets feature a solid Cu-Ni metal core with a series of concentric serrated grooves machined into both faces to a precise profile geometry. These serrations are typically covered with a thin layer of soft sealing material — most commonly flexible graphite or PTFE — that bonds to the grooved core surface. When compressed under bolt load, the serrated ridges cut into the soft overlay material, creating multiple high-stress sealing lines across the gasket face.
The solid metal core also makes Kammprofile gaskets highly blowout-resistant and reusable — in many cases, only the soft overlay layer needs replacement at maintenance — a significant advantage in heat exchanger and pressure vessel applications.
