LEADING METAL GASKETS MANUFACTURER, EXPORTER & SUPPLIER
Manufacturer, Exporter & Supplier of Copper-Nickel, Stainless Steel & Alloy Industrial Gaskets
Resilient Semi-Metallic Sealing for High-Pressure, High-Temperature & Cyclic Service
Spiral Wound gaskets are semi-metallic sealing elements constructed by spirally winding a thin metallic strip alternately with a soft filler material — typically flexible graphite or PTFE — to form a robust, resilient sealing element. The spiral winding creates alternating metal and filler layers that compress under bolt load, accommodating surface irregularities, bolt relaxation, and cyclic pressure and temperature variations.
Sunflex Metalloy manufactures spiral wound gaskets to ASME B16.20 in three standard configurations — with inner ring only, with outer ring only, or with both inner and outer centering/retaining rings — with the winding metal chosen from seven premium alloys to suit your service conditions.
Available Materials: Copper-Nickel · Stainless Steel · Copper · Brass · Inconel · Monel · Hastelloy
Sunflex Metalloy manufactures Spiral Wound Gaskets in seven premium alloys, so you can match the gasket material precisely to your process fluid, temperature, and corrosion requirements.
Copper-Nickel (Cu-Ni 90/10 / 70/30) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering outstanding seawater & biofouling resistance, with a maximum operating temperature of 400°C and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–2500 — making it the benchmark choice for marine, offshore & desalination duty.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
Stainless Steel (SS 304 / 316 / 316L) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering excellent general & chemical corrosion resistance, with a maximum operating temperature of 600°C and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–2500 — making it the most versatile, cost-effective all-round choice.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
Copper (C11000 / ETP) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering good ductility & soft-sealing conformability, with a maximum operating temperature of 250°C and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–1500 — making it low-to-medium pressure sealing with excellent conductivity.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
Brass (CZ108 / C36000) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering moderate corrosion resistance, good machinability, with a maximum operating temperature of 200°C and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–900 — making it economical general-duty & instrumentation sealing.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
Inconel (600 / 625 / 718) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering exceptional oxidation & high-temperature resistance, with a maximum operating temperature of 1000°C+ and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–2500 — making it extreme heat, cryogenic & superalloy-grade service.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
Monel (400 / K-500) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering outstanding resistance to acids & seawater, with a maximum operating temperature of 480°C and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–2500 — making it hydrofluoric acid & chemical processing duty.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
Hastelloy (C276 / C22) is one of the most requested materials for spiral wound gaskets, offering extreme resistance to highly corrosive/oxidizing media, with a maximum operating temperature of 1000°C+ and a typical pressure rating of Class 150–2500 — making it the premium choice for the harshest chemical environments.
Best For: Marine heat exchangers · Offshore process piping · Petrochemical reactor flanges · Power plant steam lines · Desalination plant pipework
